Marietta, GA – August 12, 2026 – On behalf of our client, David Landsman, we are issuing this statement in response to the recent indictment announced by the Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office.
David Landsman categorically denies the allegations brought against him and maintains his innocence in full. The charges stem from the accuser, Lindsie Chrisley, attempting to enter Mr Landsman’s home, and no court of law has made any finding of fact or guilt. An indictment is merely a formal accusation that begins the case. It is not evidence, and it is not proof of wrongdoing.
“We are deeply concerned by the scope and severity of these charges based on what we know about the facts already, which we believe reflect significant overreach by the state,” said Kim Keheley Frye, lead counsel for David Landsman. “David Landsman has cooperated fully and looks forward to the opportunity to tell his side of the story through the proper legal process.”
We ask the public, media, and community to reserve judgment until all the facts have been presented and tested through our judicial system, which guarantees every individual, regardless of who accuses them, the presumption of innocence until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
David Landsman and his legal team have already begun to mount a vigorous defense and are confident that once all evidence is reviewed, he will be exonerated.
